Dear Parents,
At Pickett’s Mill Elementary we have a multitude of enrichment classes from which our students can choose to participate. There’s a different enrichment class everyday and on some days there are more than one. While these opportunities are exciting for students, they require extra organization and supervision from the school.
The safety of our students is our number one concern. For that reason, we are asking for your cooperation in implementing a dismissal plan that ensures the safety of all students. Beginning today, each enrichment class instructor will ask you to sign your child out. Parents should a) remain in their vehicle in a carpool line until their child is delivered to the car or b) wait in the gym in the designated parent pick up area for your child to be dismissed from enrichment class. Please do not go to the classroom for pick up. All students will be escorted as a group to the dismissal area.
Children who are not picked up by a parent will be delivered and signed in to the After School Program. The daily fee for ASP will be charged if ASP services are utilized.
Thank you in advance for adhering to these dismissal guidelines and helping us execute an organized and safe dismissal procedure for our enrichment classes.
